“Abruzzo is last in Italy for the number of vaccinations, in Abruzzo just 20,000 out of 1,300,000 citizens. Slowness and bureaucracy risk frustrating the population's efforts to get out of the pandemic"
The regional councilors of the Democratic Party denounced it this morning at a press conference Silvio Paolucci, Dino Pepe, Antonio Blasioli And Pierpaolo Pietrucci, by Legnini President, Americo DiBenedetto, of Abruzzo in Municipality, Sandro Mariani and the Mixed Group, Marianna Scoccia.

The requests.
1) Certain times for the completion of phase 1 of the anti SARS COV-2 / COVID-19 vaccination campaign, with the vaccination of over-80s;
2) Know the vaccination program already from the next Regional Council, also to understand which order will be followed during phase 2, with the specification of the types of vaccines available associated with categories of recipients.
3) Increase the administered doses/population ratio (and that of vaccinated people/population), which sees Abruzzo in last place among the Italian regions and some audiences that have not yet been reached (some nursing homes are waiting for the doses);
4) Make use of the regulatory possibility offered by the State which allows the Regions, on an experimental basis, to administer vaccines in pharmacies open to the public under the supervision of doctors;
5) Provide home vaccines to really reach the whole audience;
6) Promote specific agreements with the trade associations of pharmacies and general practitioners) so that they participate in the campaign for the administration of anti-COVID-19 vaccines, as the other Regions are already doing;
7) Expanding the current vaccination administration points, at the same time strengthening the personnel necessary to ensure the correct operations of inoculation of doses to the population;
8) Create a dedicated section for the acquisition of expressions of interest in the anti COVID-19 vaccination for the personnel of the school contracts of the local authorities (e.g. school canteen workers and school transport services), of the district social sectors (e.g. social workers and psychologists), as well as to the personnel engaged in home care for the disabled and the elderly and of scientific informants;
9) Making information also about what not taking the vaccine entails.
