SALERNO – Defective medicines. Nas in pharmacies for the withdrawal from the market of some batches of medicines: Citogel of the company Geymonat SpA, Meningitec of the company Nuron Biotec BV, Meropenem Hospira of the company Hospira Italia Srl. The control activity on the safety of the Agency's medicines continues unabated Italian for Medicines. With yet another alarm, Aifa alerted the Nas carabinieri who showed up in pharmaceutical depots and pharmacies throughout Italy to verify that the medicines were withdrawn from the market. According to what has been ascertained, some of the drugs in question do not have the declared qualitative and quantitative composition, in others the presence of a reddish orange foreign body identified as iron oxide and stainless steel was detected.
