The newspaper Ciociaria Today reports that "next April 4, from 12, the electronic judicial auction will be held for the sale of the Foscama Biomedical pharmaceutical industry in Ferentino. Since September 2018, 90 workers, in addition to related industries, of the leading company in the production of drugs, or rather sterile products for chemotherapy areas, have been without salary and have been on layoffs for a few months“.
A story that has developed in recent years in which a crisis has matured within the company which since November of last year has not been able to 
pay its workers on time.
The telematic auction is a method of sale, applicable to both judicial and private sales, which is based on the use of the internet to express the will to sell and buy, according to the regulations set forth in the notice of sale and in the participation regulation, in compliance with the envisaged legislation. In this type of sale, the seller and the buyer are connected to the system starting from a specific day and time and remain connected until the end of the same, or until the relaunch period expires without any offers being submitted.
Since 2010, Biomedica Foscama Group Spa has managed the leased business branch taken over by a Brazilian multinational. After the bankruptcy, dating back to 2012, of the old company prior to the Spa, the Ferentino industry ended up in the possession of the bankruptcy trustee appointed by the Court of Frosinone and is now awaiting the auction.
It is hoped that the epilogue of the story will reopen job hopes for the workers of the Biomedical Foscama Group.
