Messina, artists on stage to help ALS patients
In Messina the "Fedaiisf Association has organized an event to help ALS patients with several local artists who will perform on stage
Artists from Messina on stage to help patients with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) Artists from Messina on stage to support patients with ALS. The Fedaiisf Association (Federation of Italian Associations of Scientific Drug Representatives) Messina headquarters and "MaryWebEventy Association" organize, in favor of Aisla Onlus Section of Messina (President Dr. Giuseppe Caristi) a show of music, dance and comedy, which also wants be a moment of awareness and information for all citizens. Two hours of performances for a fundraiser in favor of the Messina section of Aisla (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Association), to be used for initiatives in favor of patients who need greater assistance with the aim of improving the quality of life of the sick and of those close to them. It will be an evening of charity, solidarity and sharing in which numerous artists will take part for an event full of emotions. The show will take place on Wednesday 21 June 2017, starting at 18.00, in the premises of the former Church of S. Maria Alemanna, via S. Elia 16 in Messina.
The event will be preceded by very brief speeches by:
- Dr. Giuseppe Ruggeri, Medical Director UOC Assist. Healthcare Fragile Patients Asp Messina,
- Dr. Nina Santisi, Resp. UO Formation Asp Messina, Councilor for Social Policies of the Municipality of Messina,
- Prof. Placido Bramanti, Scientific Dir. IRCCS Neurolesi Center - Vice President of the Superior Health Council Section 5
- Dr. Lorenzo Giuffrida, President Lions Club Messina Ionio
The performance will start at 18.30.
These are the names of the participating artists:
Five dancers, Giada Minissale, Gianmarco Minissale, Viviana Curro', Arianna Savasta and Giada Crispi, part of the Accademia dello Spettacolo directed by Elisabetta Isaja will perform three ballets.

- Six singers of CDR Music and Coccinella directed by Giuseppe Italiano and Melina Trifirò: Adriana Drogo, Antonio D'Amore, Annalisa Di Stefano, Marianna Pirrone, Mary Mazzullo and Roberta Cacace.

The presentation of the evening will be entrusted to the showman Natale Munaò who will not miss some of his singing performances.
Aisla based in Messina, which was born in June 2009, operates in order to promote and help research, spread knowledge of the disease and find ways of continuity of care that make it possible to concretely improve the daily life of people suffering from ALS (i.e. sclerosis Amyotrophic Lateral).
Over the years, the local section has organized several conferences in order to provide information and allow for a deep understanding of ALS and the Association's activities.
The Aisla Section of Messina has delivered, several times, economic support deriving from the funds raised during the various events, also completed with other Associations.
Information material will be distributed on the occasion of the show.
