PHARMACEUTICALS, QUINTILES ITALIA WANT TO APPLY THE EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT OF THE COMMERCE TO SCIENTIFIC REPRESENTATIVES. FILCTEM-CGIL: "THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE"
In the recent Quintiles Italia recruiting call, the company intends to hire former pharmaceutical sales representatives for online tasks, with a trade contract. “Is this the new frontier of the pharmaceutical industry 4.0? – protests the Filctem-Cgil -; in this way all the laws in force and the regional resolutions are bypassed”.
“The trade contract - recalls Sergio Cardinali, of the pharmaceutical chemical department of Filctem Cgil - is by its nature closely linked to turnover, undermining all the current regulations that regulate the sector. Relegating scientific drug information to purely commercial activities is completely unacceptable to us; it affects the professional dignity of those who work in the sector and for the same quality of the health service".

Job description
QuintilesIMS is looking for 3 Remote E-detailing Reps/Medical Scientific Representatives who can join a team inserted in a multinational context and characterized by a dynamic and stimulating work environment.
The recruited resources will be responsible for presenting the client company's products through remote communication channels to the referring physicians of the CNS therapeutic area directly at the QuintilesIMS headquarters.
The resources will be responsible for carrying out "on-line" scientific information meetings for the medical target of Neurologists and Psychiatrists with the aid of communication materials relating to the client's products; they will manage the database of medical contacts in total autonomy by developing and maintaining high quality relationships with the reference interlocutors.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Knowledge of key scientific messages specific to the CNS therapeutic area;
- Excellent scientific background in CNS
- Excellent use of computer systems
- Required residence: Milan or neighbours
INSTRUCTION:
- Degree in scientific disciplines (law 219/06) and experience in scientific drug information, even brief, in the CNS therapeutic area;
COMPLETE THE PROFILE:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills,
- Leadership skills and team working;
- Autonomy, organizational skills and proactivity.
- Previous experience in a similar role or in ISF roles in the CNS area will be a preferential title
