There's a little bit of Sicily in this year's London Fashion Week. It has indeed arrived PopPling, a new platform capable of making both evenings in clubs and corporate events engaging and fun.
This new product, entirely designed and built in Sicily by Qwince (new international brand and parent company of Securproject.it, a company born in Palermo within the ARCA business incubator), is an app that allows you to share photographs and comments in real time during the event, distributing them on social networks, but above all to project them in real time on maxi screens and on the event or company website. PopPling also allows you to create challenges during the event for participants to play. In short, a solution that rides the selfie trend and the "social" spirit that now lies behind every public or private occasion.
PopPling has already been used, as a preview, by an important pharmaceutical company in Rome, during the five-day annual meeting with all employees (about 1,000 participants). “We have certainly not forgotten our land, however” – says Agostino Buono, creator and technical manager of the company, on Saturday 6 there will be a presentation event at Casa Cuba, where we hope to have at least a thousand people”.
On Monday 8, however, PopPling will land in London where it will be the social app of an event created by a charity linked to the Commonwealth. “Splendours of the Commonwealth” is one of the most exclusive opening events of this year's Fashion Week. PopPling will be there to film the stars in attendance. “It is an important showcase for us since some of the biggest English companies and personalities will be present – says Gianmarco Troia, one of the founding partners of Securproject.it and Qwince -. All this fits perfectly into the strategy of opening up the international market that it has taken us from a simple desk at the University of Palermo to creating Qwince, our European commercial center in London”. Qwince, which was recently unveiled at Tech Invest 2014 in London, was voted one of the year's 25 most exciting UK companies.
