THE LANDING by Gian Paolo Brancolini
We greet the new year with a publication of memoirs or, as the author calls them, "memories that suddenly surfaced" of a dense life, crossed by the main historical events of the last 60 years: the passage of the front, the immediate famine post-war, childhood at the time of knickerbockers and do-it-yourself games, the student spirit of the university and the mature reflections on life that come only after having metabolized the rapid changes of modern society.
In the book there is also a curious episode with the author of the cover, a young Dario Fo.
When expectations for the future decrease and the will and energy to face the stormy sea of the present fail, all that remains is the safe docking in the bay of memories.
The volume is available and can be ordered from the major online distributors and on the page http://www.massodellefate.it/mf/pagine/LIBRO.php?ID=694 or by contacting the publisher directly.
