Yesterday, 31 May, a meeting was held between the representatives of the Menarini company, the trade unions, the representatives of the government and of the Abruzzo and Tuscany regions.
The company management intends to reconfirm the commitments made in relation to research and development plans with an action that will also positively involve the Aquila plant.
Unfortunately, at the same time, Menarini declared its intention to make redundant 730 people among the group's scientific representatives. The proposed use of the solidarity contract it will only mitigate what will soon be one of the most important crises in our troubled industry.
