The US company willing to welcome former Merck Serono employees
GENEVA – The American biopharmaceutical services company Quintiles has pledged to hire at least one hundred employees of the Merck Serono who are currently working in Geneva, especially in the field of clinical and medical development. This was announced today by the German group, which controls the Swiss company.
“We have been in contact for some time with Quintiles and we are very pleased that at least 100 of our employees have the opportunity to work with this trusted partner,” said the Chairman of the Board of Merck Serono, François Naef.
Quintiles is a US company created in 1990 in California and based in North Carolina. It employs 25,000 people in 60 countries. It has been present in Switzerland since 1995, in Basel and St-Prex (VD). The jobs it proposes concern activities in the field of clinical operations, biostatistics, clinical research and pharmacovigilance.
