The Balduzzi decree has created considerable difficulties for those in chronic therapy for an important pathology. Let's take epilepsy for example. Doctors are obliged to prescribe equivalent drugs and often do not want to write "non-replaceable drug" on the prescription. Too bad it is Aifa itself that "recommends" non-replacement.
It all starts from the great difficulty in understanding, or rather in explaining to citizens, that the bioavailability between brand and generic drugs is not the same. This variant in chronic pathologies becomes even more noticeable. Now it seems that some pharmaceutical companies are deciding to considerably lower the cost of branded drugs, demonstrating the fact that the gain, however to the detriment of the citizen since most of the cost was borne by the community, is probably high. But the difference remains to be paid entirely between the brand drug and the generic.
So Minister Balduzzi, technician, would you like to ask some "technicians" how we should behave? But above all, does he want to give explanations to those who are, in spite of themselves, sick? For example, it could answer various questions from groups that are forming on social networks. One of these "give us back the exemption and our rights", to which I belong, made up of thousands of people, is clamoring for Article 32 of the Italian Constitution to be respected.
Minister Balduzzi, President Napolitano, have unique molecules "specific" for pathology placed on the market, controlled for bioavailability and clinical action, which are free for chronic pathologies and for lifesavers. Instead, charge all other molecules in full. This is how we cancel the tickets on medicines. We help in healthcare those who are not healthy but who need pharmacological molecules that give health and life. This is real change. Let's not create regional divisions, but let's unite the country from north to south in a single supportive embrace in this period of social and economic crisis. We check that the molecules we take, because we are forced to, are effective not for pharmaceutical companies, institutions and compliant doctors, but for citizens.
