Washington - The manufacturer of Botox (capable of "paralyzing" wrinkles) will pay a huge fine to the US government $600 million for promoting the drug's misuse between 2000 and 2005. Allergan -- which manufactures and markets the product -- admitted to running promotional campaigns for the sale and use of Botox for a variety of ailments for which it had never been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
