Sergio Dompé has been confirmed by a very large majority at the helm of Farmindustria for the next two years. He was elected by the Assembly of drug companies which met this afternoon at Confindustria. The same Assembly appointed the Presidential Committee composed of 5 Vice Presidents: Claudio Cavazza (Sigma Tau); Daniel Lapeyre (Sanofi-Aventis); Angelos Papadimitriou (GlaxoSmithkline); Maria Pia Ruffilli (Pfizer Italy); Emilio Stefanelli (Savio National Biochemical Institute). The Presidential Committee also includes: Alberto Aleotti (Menarini); Alberto Chiesi (Chiesi Pharmaceuticals); Sergio Daniotti (Boehringer Ingelheim Italy); Giorgio Rende (Ici Rende); Massimo Scaccabarozzi (Janssen-Cilag); Marco Venturelli (Novartis Farma).
