The Italian Medicines Agency has ordered the withdrawal from the market of two lots of homeopathic eye drops Revitorgan Conisan A (batch n. 1200 - deadline 06/2007) and Revitorgan Conisan B (batch n. 1260 - deadline 09/2007) and, in as a precautionary measure, the immediate ban on the use of all product packaging on the national territory. The measures were necessary following a pharmacovigilance report relating to the onset of a serious eyeball infection connected to the use of these eye drops.
