Collective and/or individual redundancies: what to do?
On the evening of Friday 8 November, a meeting was held in Foggia at the auditorium of the Order of Doctors with the lawyer. Mariarita Famà entitled: “Individual and collective redundancies and incentivized redundancies for drug sales representatives. End of the protection of art. 18? “.
After a brief introduction by the Provincial President Gianni Totta, greetings and thanks from the Provincial Secretary Antonio Mazzarella, Dr. Maria Rita Famà began her discussion which kept the participants (about 60) glued to their seats for 1 hour and 40 minutes.
Thanks to her very clear exposition, her great experience and preparation, the rapporteur has touched on all the hot topics, unfortunately, of this period, i.e. reasons for dismissal, individual and/or collective, adequacy of redundancy incentives, powers of judges and companies and many more.
The audience thus received a sea of information and came out reassured on many points that scare informants today: the Fornero law, article 18, the possibility of reinstatement following an unjust dismissal, etc….
At the end of the rich report, a long session of questions and requests for clarification on particular situations began, which kept those present busy for another hour and a half.
The lawyer Famà repeatedly invited those present not to isolate themselves in their legal actions against the companies. He stressed that unity is strength and how it is important to join trade associations, such as Fedaiisf, thanks to which it is often possible to act effectively in defense of the isfs with problems of dismissal and more. He also pointed out that Fedaiisf, to date, is the historic and oldest organization capable of enforcing the rights of scientific representatives of the drug.
This particular topic sees us, as an association, in complete agreement given that we have been calling for unity for years now and we have been pursuing this path despite the obstacles sometimes posed, even by some colleagues with ambitions of power.
In general it was an excellent experience full of food for thought.
All the thanks, gratitude and compliments of the Board of the Fedaiisf Section of Foggia go to Dr. Famà.
